Cemeteries aren’t always grave places

Recently, Linda Bohm was contacted by a woman from New Zealand requesting a quote for an unusual photography job. The inquiry was regarding a headstone of a long lost relative to be photographed. This headstone happened to be located only 5 minutes from our studio in Montclair, NJ at the Rosedale Cemetery. Needless to say, Linda accepted the job and set off on the adventure of finding this headstone. The Rosedale Cemetery is extremely large in size and also very beautiful. Acres and acres of beautiful trees and winding paths make a wonderful home for not only souls at rest, but also an abundance of wildlife. Families of deer freely prance through the park with safety from cars and hunters. Although photographing a headstone may seem like a strange request, the job turned out to be extremely interesting and beautiful. Using available light, Bohm-Marrazzo Photography captured the wonderful environment of the resting place.

Yet another interesting genre of work to add to the repertoire. 🙂
