And the USA pulled through in the 2012 Olympic Games with an astonishing victory to snatch up first place.

Although the US and China were neck and neck in the race, the US had a strong finish. However, this was not the most shocking moment of the Games.

Until next time…
As the Olympic Games slow down and draw to a close, the whole world waits to see the final medal count.
With China and the United States neck-and-neck for first place we all watch with anticipation.
Our Cat Olympians take pride in what ever medals they have acquired, as you can see here. Riplee raises her arms in victory of winning the first place gold medal.
Pippi stands noble in second place with her silver medal, (although jealous hints of her inner Maroney show through as she places a paw onto the coveted first place).
And last, but by no means the least, the 18 year old Bonnie proudly sports her bronze.
These gymnastic cats are decorated in wrist bands and collars to represent their homelands on the medal podium. Their Olympic costumes were crafted by Linda Bohm to help each cat look their best!
Inspired by American gymnast Gabby Douglas who made history when she took home the gold in individual and team all-around.
Not to mention Gabby is the first African-American to win the all-around in gymnastics.
Riplee embraces the proud and enthusiastic spirit of Gabby’s record-breaking Olympic moments here on the medal podium.

As the Italian Stallion Rocky Balboa once said, “it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.”
Claressa Shields, 17 year old American Boxing Olympic hopeful is an inspiration to our “Riplee Shields” who has gone undefeated in all her matches. It must be those hand-made gloves
that Linda Bohm crafted just for her. She takes on every opponent, even if they are twice her size. This image was shot for Splash News to show the world that there are gold medal winners in every species.

At Bohm-Marrazzo Photography we’re a big fan of swimming prodigy, Michael Phelps. So is the lovely border collie “Luca Phelps”.
Here, she takes on the character of 22-time gold medalist Michael Phelps. Recuperating from some world record breaking laps in the pool, Luca still finds the composure to pose for the camera.
Unfortunately we were not able to go to London to shoot at the Olympic pool, so we posed our Olympian in the studio and compiled the image with a background of the pool–Thanks to Gerry’s photoshop expertise. You would never know she wasn’t actually an olympic swimmer would you? This photograph was taken for SPLASH News (and for our amusement)!
Happy Sporting. Game on!
