Using a Monochromatic Color Scheme

Color is always a very critical element to a photograph. Using color schemes and contrasting or complementary colors is a good way to create an aesthetically pleasing photograph. However, who ever said that a monochromatic photo couldn’t also be interesting? This image taken in Bermuda illustrates a very relaxing a calm environment which is accented by the many shades of blue composing the scene.

Next time you are making photographs, think about color. Carefully choose the color palette in your shot.
And remember, using a single color can create just as much of an impact as different color combinations.

Happy Shooting.
